Preparations are now in full swing for the 2016 National Schools Press Conference happening in the City of Koronadal.
More than 5,000 campus journalists from both public and private elementary and secondary schools from all over the country with their advisers are expected to attend the said national event slated from February 22- 26, 2016 in the City of Koronadal.
The NSPC is considered the most prestigious journalism competition conducted by the Department of Education. The conduct of this is pursuant to the Republic Act 7079, otherwise known as the Campus Journalism Act of 1991. It aims to demonstrate understanding of the importance of journalism by expressing it through different journalistic endeavors and sustaining advocacy on social consciousness.
