On Wednesday, October 25, 2017, the local government unit of Tboli headed by mayor Dibu Tuan officially opened the tourist receiving center in Brgy. Kematu.
Patterned from the long houses of Tboli royalties, the Tourist Receiving Center which is also named "Gunu Bong" will host the visitors who will be heading to Hikong Kmebel and Hidak Falls, two of Tboli's major tourist destinations.
Also present during the opening are municipal and barangay officials, residents of Brgy. Kematu including those who will run the tourist receiving center.
How to get there
The Municipality of Tboli is about 45 minutes to 1 hour away from the City of Koronadal by public van.
From the Tboli Public Transport Terminal, register at the Municipal Tourism Office located at the Municipal Plaza. Ask tourism office staff to help you look for a habal-habal (single motorcycle) which will bring you to Hidak Eco-Park in Brgy. Kematu.
