Finally, South Cotabato Reigns as SRAA Meet Overall Champion

South Cotabato has officially been crowned the overall champion of the SOCCSKSARGEN Regional Athletic Association (SRAA) Meet 2025, marking a historic first for the province after years of finishing as runner-up.

With a dominant performance of 124 gold, 114 silver, and 98 bronze medals, South Cotabato athletes displayed exceptional talent and resilience, solidifying their place at the top of regional athletics.

For the past 10 years, South Cotabato has been a consistent top contender in the SRAA Meet, finishing as runner-up for five consecutive years before finally seizing the championship this 2025.




After years of perseverance, South Cotabato has finally reached the summit, proving itself as the undisputed sports powerhouse of SOCCSKSARGEN.

A Victory of Unity and Collaboration

This monumental win was made possible through the strong partnership between the Provincial Government of South Cotabato and the City Government of Koronadal, which co-hosted this year’s games. Governor Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. and Mayor Eliordo "Bebot" Ogena spearheaded the efforts to ensure a seamless and athlete-focused event, making SRAA Meet 2025 one of the most successful editions in history.

"Dahil sa ating pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan, naging napakamatagumpay ng SRAA Meet ngayong taon," Governor Tamayo emphasized, highlighting the importance of teamwork in achieving great results.

Beyond the medals and trophies, this victory symbolizes South Cotabato’s unwavering commitment to sports development and youth empowerment. The provincial government has invested in training programs, upgraded sports facilities, and holistic athlete development, ensuring that the province remains a dominant force in regional and national competitions.
